Heather Paige started at The Beacon Veterinary Associates in November 2017.Her nickname here at The Beacon Vet is Paige. She's been a licensed veterinary technician for about 8 years. Her previous experience is emergency and general small animal medicine. Heather has a special interest in anesthesia, animal dentistry and wild life rehabilitation. As for pets, she currently has a 4 year old Shepard mix named Franki, a 6 year old yellow Labrador named Luna and a 12 year old uromastyx ( really cutelizard) named Rumpelstiltskin. She loves what she does because she gets tobe an advocate for the animals we treat and loves feeling that what shedoes makes a difference.
Morgan joined the family at The Beacon Vet in the fall of 2013. She is a former EMT, and also has previous experience in both large and small animal medicine. As a child, she grew up rescuing all the injured animals that she could and nursing them back to health. Morgan has decided to turn her passion into a career and is currently pursuing her BS in veterinary technology at Mercy College. She lives locally with her boyfriend and their 4 year old daughter, Xylie and 1 year old daughter, Raina. They have a rescued cat named Rerun, a rescued Ball Python named Freckles and two fish named Fatty McFatterson & Jaws II. When Morgan has time, she enjoys kayaking and hiking Mount Beacon. Mostly, she loves spending time with Xylie, Raina & her other “kids”.
Lindsey joined the Beacon Vet Associates family in January of 2017. She has previous experience from a mixed animal practice and completed her internship with a local board certified orthopedic surgeon. She graduated from SUNY Ulster in 2016 with her Associates in Veterinary Technology. She is currently attending SUNY New Paltz to complete her bachelors degree andplans to attend Ross University following the footsteps of both Dr. Souers and Dr. Spaccarelli. Growing up, Lindsey participated in 4-H and her love for animals drove her to become qualified preform showmanship with every species at the fairgrounds. In her free time Lindsey enjoys attendingcountry concerts and riding her pony. Lindsey resides in New Paltz with herdogs, cats, chickens, bunnies, horse and goats!
Heather Savage is the Practice Manager, who began in June 2015. She is also a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Heather has been in the veterinary field for 10 years and has worked with a large variety of animals (even llamas). In her spare time she likes to spend time with her family who includes her domestic partner Paul and her 7-year old daughter Thalia. Together they enjoy crafts, golf, traveling, and creating family-friendly Youtube videos. Savage is a dedicated pet-owner to: Rosie (mini-daschund), Prince Eric (Siamese Mix), Colonel Jesus (Domestic Shorthair), and Hamilton (Golden Retreiver named after Heather's 6th Great-Uncle: Alexander Hamilton).
Taylor joined The Beacon Veterinary Associates family as our receptionist in the summer of 2018. She grew up in Orange County, NY and comes to us with experience as a veterinary assistant in a small animal emergency hospital. Taylor also has her bachelors degree in biology/chemistry and recently began her masters in public health. When she is not working she volunteers with a local ambulance corps and enjoys hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, and spending time with her boyfriend and their 3 year old chocolate lab!
Chevelle joined the family at The Beacon Vet Associates in May 2018. She is a former Licensed Pharmacy Tech who enjoys learning about medicine. Chevelle is otherwise known as Chevy. Her love for animals started during her childhood where her and her family had 7 goats, 18 chickens, 8 ducks, 7 dogs and 2 cats. During her free time, prior to working at a vet she enjoyed volunteering at the local animal shelter. She has been in the Veterinary field for almost 6 years and has experience as a Veterinary Assistant at a Small Animal Emergency Hospital. In her free time she enjoys hiking, going to the gym, and spending time with her boyfriend and their 2 cats, Milo and Dutchess and their guinea pig name Skittles.
